Fauve is an interpretation of the teaser for the 2018 short film of the same name, directed by Jeremy Comte. This story is about two boys who embark on a perilous journey near an open-pit mine, where one of them gets stuck in quicksand and ultimately dies. This concept utilizes the sensation of downward sinking to guide the viewer through the various instrumental elements of the story, including the stick, the cliff, the mud, the meadow, a young boy’s head, and ultimately, the fox.Illustration
