Fauve is about two boys who embark on a perilous journey near a open pit mine, in which one of them gets stuck in quick sand and ultimatley meets his death. This concept uses the feeling/motion of downward sinking to lead the viewer through the various instrumental elements of the story, such as the stick, the cliff, the mud, the meadow, a young boy’s head, and finally, the fox.
